PV-plant NewtechComparison of the operation and energy yield of 3 grid connected 1kWp-photovoltaic plants (Newtech 1-3) with different thin film solar cells-technologies (a-Si-triple-cells, a-Si-tandem-cells and CuInSe2-cells). The 3 PV plants are at the same location and each of them is operated with an own, identical inverter (ASP Top Class Spark). BFH-TI Burgdorf has installed an analytical monitoring system for detailed analysis of the 3 PV plants. Initial degradation of the modules will be measured. Therefore the monitoring system and the PV plants started operating at the same time. Operation of the PV plant and the monitoring system started on 17.12.2001. ![]()
